Can I Use My Original Characters?: You may have your original characters in this deviation, BUT there must be an equal number or more Sanguem Deus characters. This is a Sanguem Deus contest after all.
You may use textures/patterns that are in your art program if doing the colouring digitally, but nothing else. The only exception is screentones, and any tones used must be credited, i.e.; if they are your own please state; if you use MangaStudio and they are the program tones, you must state this; if they are stock, you must credit the owner.

The sound of a doorbell resounded through the house of Dr. Tommy Oliver, catching him by surprise. His guest was a full hour early, unless the ring was from the postman of course. Tommy made his way from the kitchen- where he was preparing an afternoon snack- to the front door in a matter of seconds. Wondering whether he'd see a person or an unexpected parcel, the rather secretive man opened the door.
"Uncle Tommy, nice to see you!" a mid-height, lanky teen said upon seeing the doctor.

Reason: I like it, but the reason you got second was it was far too long for me (my attention span is not the best), and it was an old piece. You just reuploaded it, I believe, which I allowed. It was still a good piece though.

Goal:
Create a character to take the place of a character from a fandom or added on a character to a fandom.
Rules:
- Two categories – Traditional and Digital; Literature. These are the genres of art you can use. No photography allowed.
- You may not take out the main character from a fandom.
- Must be from a movie, TV show, game or book. Professional fandom is what I'm saying. Not like something your friend made.
- Must have the history of the character, if in the traditional or digital category, in the artist's comments, not in the deviation.
Correct and Incorrect Examples:
Correct: A new character for or replacing a character from the Legend of Zelda.
Incorrect: A character for or replacing another character for your friend's original fandom.
