At the Lake
For TroubleShark
I remember it clearly;
it was summer,
fifteen years ago.
The scorching heat,
the cloudless day,
and the visible waves of heat,
coming off the pavement.
That was where we first met.
It wasn't just us there.
So many people,
so many different families,
all sharing the warm green pool,
fighting off the sun.
I remember your hair.
It was like fire.
It was so bright in the sunlight.
I thought it might be a mirage;
I had to make sure.
As I walked to you,
I knew others were staring.
I was one of the dark strangers,
my hair was as black as a witch's cat
and my eyes were as green as an emerald.
My family had just moved a month earlier.
Suspicion, fanatics, and rumors;
they destroyed my chances at easy friendship.
But being a bookworm,
I don't mind that much.
I found that you were different.
The moment I got close,
your friend pointed,
disgusted with me for approaching.
When you turned,
there was a moment of complete silence.
But instead of the disgusted look of the others,
you turned fully toward me and grinned.
After a single, melodious laugh,
you asked me to join you.
My heart was finally complete.

Derpy Thoughts
A test for subscriptions where I'll post statuses with my typical derpy/shower thoughts that I usually keep to myself. This can include both SFW and NSFW. I have shared these before but they are usually only the SFW ones, so this will include both. Use these derpy thoughts to get inside my mind.
(I cut and stopped dying my hair for a bit. I'll change it to the blue-black when I start dying my hair again.)

Written by yours truly for the llama event.
QuincyAllain won for giving me my 1000th llama (Fancy Llama).
They won the poem prize and asked for a theme with summer and a lake.
This poem can be narrated from a girl or a boy. I made it unisex. Also, I included Premium Content, just because.
Enjoy!
